About The Event
Join us once again for a Social Cinema evening of breath work, chats with your community, a feast, and most of all a screening of this incredible new film.
Derek vs Derek is a feature documentary and global impact campaign tackling one of the most urgent challenges of our
time: how can we farm and restore nature at the same time?
Derek Banbury is an advocate for intensive farming; Derek Gow is giving his entire farm over to nature; rewilding it into an oasis for wildlife.
Tempers fray, wild animals escape, and the land between them is transformed.
The two Dereks butt heads over what the English countryside should look like and who gets to decide.
Join us to breathe, watch, discuss and eat together in the unique 99p Films model.
All food will be sourced from regenerative agricultural farms, British producers or community market gardens, so that we can eat part of the solution, together.
We hope to discuss with you what the future of our countryside might look like, and how we all have a say in changing the story- from division, to understanding.
This evening's feast will be cooked using majority British grown ingredients, championing the British farmers we will be watching and discussing. We want to show our support for them in as many ways possible, as they are the future of our food revolution. Please join us in this delicious feast (vegan and gluten free).
Doors open: 4:30pm
Screening and discussion: 5pm
Feast: 7:30pm
Soft close: 8:30pm. The venue will remain open beyond this for people to continue to socialise, eat, drink and connect!
