About The Event
Derek vs Derek:
Derek vs Derek is a feature documentary and global impact campaign tackling one of the most urgent challenges of our
time: how can we farm and restore nature at the same time?
🐄 Derek Banbury is an advocate for intensive dairy farming, doing his bit to feed the nation.
🐗Derek Gow is giving his entire farm over to nature; rewilding it into an oasis for wildlife.
Tempers fray, wild animals escape, and the land between them is transformed.
The two Dereks butt heads over what the English countryside should look like and who gets to decide.
Join us to breathe, watch, discuss and eat together in the unique 99p Films model.
All food will be sourced from regenerative agricultural farms, British producers or community market gardens, so that we can eat part of the solution, together.
We hope to discuss with you what the future of our countryside might look like, and how we all have a say in changing the story- from division, to understanding.
🧑🌾This evening's feast will be cooked by the chefs from Beats and Roots who have an incredible veggie/vegan cafe on site! Please join us in this delicious feast before the film kicks off.

The meal for this evening is being cooked by the chefs from Beats and Roots. The produce, time spent cooking and preparation means that each meal costs a set price of £10. They work around seasonal produce so the menu will be announced a week before the event. Previous examples include a thali spread of veggie delights inspired by recipes from around the world.
