About The Event
🍄99p FILMS X FUNGI TOWN!🍄
We're so excited to bring our unique social cinema formula to Fungi Town this October. As 99p Films, we've got an evening of breath-work, documentaries, group discussions and a feast coming right up! Roll-up to our pop-up cinema for films about mushrooms; stay for the stroganoff.
This screening is part of the Fungi Town event.
'Fungi Town, Hay-on-Wye, is a new kind of happening: a fungal takeover of an entire town in celebration of the weird and wonderful world of mushrooms, toadstools, lichens, moulds, and yeasts.'
Fungi Town is between 2-4th October, with this film night landing slap bang on the Saturday evening.
We're excited to partner with the Culturing Dish, a network of researchers, cultivators, educators and artists across England and Ireland. Openly sharing knowledge of all things related to fungi; members from the culturing dish will be there on the night to answer any questions with expertise.
The feast element of the night will be prepared by The Globe.

Served with salad, bread and rice.

Doors open: 4:30pm
Screening and discussion: 5pm
Feast served: 7pm.

add this ticket if you want to feast with us! This ticket covers sourcing, buying and cooking organic, regenerative and seasonal food. The Globe will be providing the meal this evening, £10 per head covers their costs. :) The Menu: Seasonal Mushroom Stroganoff with rice, salad and bread!
