About The Event
Whispers in the Woods
Delving deep into the woodland realms, where lynxes, bears, deer, owls, capercaillies, and other river creatures roam, Vincent Munier not only seeks to pay tribute once again to the visual splendor of nature but also to capture the forest’s poetic sounds. The whispers of the woods are echoing the whispers passed from Munier’s father to himself, and now to his own son. This becomes a heartfelt declaration of Munier’s love for his father, intertwining familial bonds with the untamed beauty of the natural world.
Location:
The Princess Pavilion was our first ever venue over 3 years ago.
This council run building is an incredible space and we're delighted to see the continued council support with helping us put on these impactful community screening events. With a massive screen and hefty soundsystem, the beautifully composed music for this film has the right speakers for the job. An adjacent dining area with a fully kitted out industrial kitchen allows us to cater for 150 of you beautiful souls.
Feast:
Our food this evening will be cooked by the 99p team and a collective of long standing volunteers who we are always eternally grateful for.
Our team has cooked at countless events in the past and our repotoir of seasonal and british focused recipes is developing at a deliciously tasty rate. All helped by the fact that we have all recently recieved chef training. Expect a couldron of slow cooked local veggies and hodmedods beans, british winter veg roasted in standing high ovens, crunchy and flavour filled salads and a mix of belly filling grains and the tastiest bread we can find in Cornwall!
