About The Event
Join us for an evening of film, food, and reflection on our relationship with the sea and the natural forces that move us.
This 99p Films social cinema experience features a special screening of Wind, Tide & Oar, a beautifully crafted exploration of engineless sailing. Shot on analogue film over three years, it follows traditional boats across the UK, France, and the Netherlands, capturing the quiet rhythms and deep knowledge of those who sail using only wind, tide, and oar.
The film creates space to reflect on themes of ecology, maritime heritage, and the enduring power of traditional skills in a mechanised world.
