About The Event

Monday 4 May 2026 - 9.30am-4pm | Rosuick Farm, The Lizard, Cornwall We're delighted to be partnering with Wildlife Groundswell for a day all around Re-awakening the Lizard!


Family-friendly | All welcome

Join us for our Celebration of Nature – a day of talks, creativity, music, and community at the heart of the Lizard Peninsula. This special event, hosted by Wildlife Groundswell, brings together local voices, national projects, and hands-on activities to inspire and connect us with the natural world.

Across five themed zones you’ll discover:


Voices for Nature– poetry, talks, films, and stories about nature recovery on the Lizard


 Inspiring talks- on landscape change for nature, beavers and bugs


Art & Making– creative workshops including swift kite making, bug boxes


Sound & Story Space– music, storytelling, nature soundscapes


The Future– add your hopes and actions for nature to our interactive “Future Tree”


There will be an opportunity to watch films about fantastic wildlife, admire wildlife photography and to train as a Green Lizard Connector

And of course there will be plenty of space to explore, connect, and take part — whether you want to listen, create, or simply enjoy the day in the beautiful setting of Rosuick Farm.


We'll be offering some fantastic food from Iman's Syrian Food (pre-book only) or feel free to bring your own picnic

Iman & her family fled Syria nearly a decade ago, seeking refuge in Falmouth, Cornwall. 

Over the last 3 years Iman has shared Syrian culture through her love of cooking. Working with the Falmouth Food Coop Grocery and cooking feasts for 99p films social cinema nights. 

She uses mainly British grown produce supporting local farmers, building resilient food networks and spreading a collective appetite for joy through organic & regenerative agriculture.


Menu is a Thali style mix of:

Falafel (British Fava Beans) + Tahini + Sesame

Dhal (British Yellow split lentil) + Pumpkin Seeds

Almond & Vegetable Rice (Carrot,Peas)

Tabbouleh (Mixed salad, Parsley, Cucumber, Tomato)

Hummus (British Fava beans, lemon, garlic and olive oil) All vegan and gluten free!
